Day one.

Here goes.

When I got home, there was a package for me. Really, it was for Cris. FedEx doesn't deliver to his house. And his warranty expires on...the 20th. Anyways, he had to get the Protection Plan or whatever so that he could extend his warranty. And sent it to me. Then I gave him the code thing to activate it. Now his warranty doesn't expire until July 20th, 2010.

Today, the iPhone 3G came out. Along with new firmware for both the iPhone and the iPod Touch, of which I own the latter. However, in January, iPod Touch users had to buy the new firmware update, 1.1.4. Which cost twenty dollars. Cris got it for me for my birthday. Which was nice. But at a ridiculous price for what we got (lyrics capabilities, Mail, Weather, etc.)
Now, after having spent $20 on that software update (well, Cris did) 5 months ago, people that DIDN'T buy it then, when they now buy the 2.0 software, (for $10), get the same features that I had to pay $20 for. So.
I had to pay (overall) $30.
They get to pay $10.
And you know what?
The servers that are offering 2.0 for purchase and download are DOWN. Because EVERYONE is downloading it. -lesigh-

That was my last clock in/out ticket thing before the end of the pay period, which ended on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning, in my case). So I actually have about 7 more hours than it says, because I didn't actually clock myself out that night (my manager did). This next pay period will be ri-fucking-diculous. Not only have I been working 8-10 hour shifts every day since Wednesday, but the federal government raised minimum wage to $6.55/hour. (It doesn't technically take effect until next February, but my manager doesn't know that. Or doesn't care. Whatever.) So yeah. I'll have a freaking crapload of hours and make like...$500. Haha. But then I only have one more paycheck after that D:
But it's cool. I'll have made like...$1400 this summer. Making tacos. That's right.

I'm also teaching myself Japanese. Right now I'm in the process of learning the hiragana. Once I master those, it's on to katakana. I don't even want to THINK ABOUT kanji. Let's not talk about kanji :D

3. August 2--Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn is finally fucking released. After like...fucking three books of anticipation of this whole Bella/Edward/Will they ever have sex? thing,
And then realizing that they're NOT because Stephenie Meyer IS MORMON AND AGHH.
Anyway, it'll happen. And the books will be over. Fucking finally.
4. August 10-14--Last but certainly not LEAST: I GET TO GO TO HALEY'S HOUSE WHEE!
We're gonna go clothes shopping, and suite shopping, and most freaking importantly:
